Moorhead citizens – please vote this guy out. if you have ever attended a council meeting you will see why. He pays no attention to anything that is going on with citizen addressing the council. He plays on his computer while the meeting is taking place. When called upon to solve issues he does nothing! I have contacted him so many time since moving from ND to Moorhead and he has not fixed one issue or looked into one thing. Moorhead we deserve better!!! He has not addressed street project issues that gone bad, Moorhead development planning, staff issues within the city, etc. I could go on for hours. Moorhead deserves to get people in that will voice and stand up and actually change things – not some person that sits on the sidelines playing on his computer while important issues are raised in meetings.
Greg Lemke for Council – Another 4 years of nothing getting done!

Posted: October 5, 2011 in Fargo Moorhead ContractorsTags: fargo, finish grade, hydroseeding, Moorhead, sod
This year 2011 I had my yard redone with excavating by bringing in over 22 yards of top soil and leveled. Additionally the old grass was tore up. One piece to this whole project was should I sod, plant grass, drill seed, or hydroseed. I was really up in the air about it. All of them have their benefits. After having my concrete curbing done the owner advise if you are going to hydroseed there is only one person he would go too. That is Chad Larson of CL Specialties. Phone number 218-790-0652 and email is clarson@rrt.net. After meeting with Chad he advised the limitations in my yard with drill seeding (a lot of curbing for the machine that is used). He then advised me about hydroseeding and I told him about my reservations with that application. He educated me about how his process is different and looking at the results only after 2.5 months it is amazing. My yard looks just as good as my neighbors that have been growing for 3 years. I would highly recommend him and let him know where you found this information. The other thing I like is he will come out and advise you what fertilizer is needed and if you are willing to buy the good stuff from him he will drop it off for you. He is one of the few contractors in this area that I would recommend to others. My grass is still in its lush green state even after the colder nights and no rain.

Can President Obama get us out of the recession before it is too late?
I highly doubt it for many reasons.

Really? The title says it all about the leadership at NDSU that seems to transcend from one president to another. No backbone. Make a decision and stikc with it. On another note:

Dorgan’s recent comment about how ND citizen are during town hall meeting went up in smoke recently in Casselton. His recent comments:
- “That’s just not the way North Dakotans are”
- “And so I’ve always welcomed a diversity of thought. I think it’s healthy. And North Dakotans always do that very respectfully.”

Mid Continental Hitting Gas Lines in Moorhead
Posted: August 13, 2009 in General, PoliticsTags: Continental, FCC, gas, Mid, Moorhead, utility
Well it was only a matter of time before Moorhead would have utility companies coming in and putting in more “services”. It is sad that the city of Moorhead along with other cities can not block this type of service because it is govern by the FCC. On top of that the city does not put their foot down to ensure that these contractors do the job right. Within 2 weeks they have hit 2 gas lines.

Tonight I was took part in a performance by the Trollwood Performing Art School. I went to only one other performance from Trollwood which was Beauty and the Beast and I have to say both were very good. Don’t get me wrong I am no art critic and don’t know a lick of music or even how to read music. Read the rest of this entry »

So what does every one think about the smoking ban loop hole? I think it is hilarious. Leave it up to all these politicians, smoking ban advocates, etc to come up with a law with a loop hole. First I have to voice what most logical people would think. Read the rest of this entry »
